Atlantic Blowers Relief Valve AB-20002 1-1/2""
A RELIEF VALVE IS USED TO CONTROL OR LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF PRESSURE IN A BLOWER SYSTEM BY ALLOWING THE PRESSURIZED AIR TO FLOW THROUGH AN AUXILIARY PASSAGE OUT OF THE SYSTEM. THE ATLANTIC BLOWERS RELIEF VALVE MAY BE SET TO OPEN AT A PRE-DETERMINED SET PRESSURE TO PROTECT THE BLOWER FROM OVERHEATING AND SUBSEQUENT FAILURE. WHEN THE SET PRESSURE IS EXCEEDED THE RELIEF VALVE BECOMES THE ""PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE"" AS THE VALVE IS FORCED OPEN AND A PORTION OF THE AIR IS DIVERTED THROUGH THE AUXILIARY ROUTE. ATLANTIC BLOWERS RELIEF VALVES CAN BE USED FOR BOTH PRESSURE APPLICATIONS AS WELL AS VACUUM APPLICATIONS.
